The National Workers Memorial commemorates union workers that have lost their lives on the job, in protest, or in unsafe work conditions on a national level. The design of the memorial is broken up into three different areas. The radial bricks represent individual workers that have lost their lives on the job. The slate stones around the perimeter memorialize particular events. Finally, the large 2' x 2' granite stones represent the larger specialized unions or organizations that want to be recognized. Interlocking circles on the stones represent the connections between the unions. Scope included logo design, printed marketing brochures, and the memorial graphics.
